FileMaker Admits a Serious Problem
"FileMaker is aware of, and actively investigating, reports of files occasionally being damaged or corrupted when the current version of FileMaker Server (version 5.5), running on Mac OS X or Mac OS X Server, is shut down before hosted files are closed. "
Well, it only took four days of angry posts on Macintouch.com for FileMaker, Inc. to admit a problem that has been plaguing its Macintosh customers for at least a year. Now, they say they'll get to work on figuring it out. Great.
